Who is considered an eligible family member?

Eligible family members include your legal married spouse, as long as he/she has enrolled in any employer sponsored health plan available to him/her; Your children (biological, step-children, or legally adopted child who is not yet age 26); Your children who are at least 26 and who are incapable of self-sustaining employment because of a physical or mental handicap; A child covered by a Qualified Medical Child Support Order.
